About me
Creative artist and designer, bringing people on different continents closer together.
Born in Russia on May 12, 1951 in the town of Rubtsovsk, Altai Krai. Graduated from Novoaltaisk Art College.
Was practicing at Senezh Art Studio, a division of the Union of Artists of the USSR (studied under M. Konik, a famous environmental designer).
Has been working in the field of art design, architecture, graphic art, photographs, and painting. Participant of numerous regional, all-Soviet Union, and foreign exhibitions since 1977, including the All- Soviet Union exhibitions "Artists to People" 1983, Moscow; "The Country Youth" 1982, Moscow; "We Build Communism" 1981, 1986, Moscow; "Land and People" 1984, Moscow; All-Russian exhibition "Artist - Designer" 1995, Moscow; all-Siberian exhibitions " Siberia" 1980, 1982, 2008; foreign exhibitions "Artists of Altai Krai" 2004 in Kazakhstan; 2006 in China; Small Works Show 2010, 2011, Victoria BC; Sidney Fine Art Show 2011, 2014, 2015, Sidney, BC, where his works Night Bouquet (2011) and Portrait in a Coordinate Grid (2014) were honourably mentioned.
1989-1993 was a chair-man of the Design Studio "Environment".
Creative journeys to Poland 1986, 1987, France 1991, Canada 2010, USA 2011, China 2011, Cuba 2011, Costa Rica 2013.
Has been working as a member of the Board of the Altai Krai Union of Artists since 1996 to 2010.
Member of the Russian Federation Union of Artists since 1983.
Member of the Russian Federation Union of Designers since 1996.
Was awarded with Altai Krai Prize in Literature, Art, and Architecture in 2002.
Was awarded with the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service in 2011.
Moved to Canada in 2010.
Participant of more than 30 different exhibitions and shows in Russia since 1977 till present.
